It seems that the dream of One Direction reuniting with all 5 members in the near future will never happen again. Especially when in a recent interview, member Louis Tomlinson revealed about his increasingly deteriorating relationship with Zayn Malik.

Louis Tomlinson revealed in a recent interview that he never felt like his relationship with former bandmate Zayn Malik “would never be good again.” Specifically, Louis first recounted the story of when Zayn did not attend the memorial service for his mother, Johannah Deakin, in December 2016. The entire band came to support Louis during the difficult time, except for Zayn. At this ceremony, Louis brought many attendees to tears.

“It was never a good relationship, I’ll be honest,” he said. “I had a couple of phone calls with him after my mother passed away and, you know, everyone agreed to come to my show. Then he didn’t come and that upset me a little bit.” Louis also seemed deeply moved when he saw the other three members in the audience at his mother’s funeral.

The news that One Direction will reunite in the near future has made many fans happy, but now seeing all 5 members on stage will never happen again.
