The Voice Battles continue with a third night of competition, pairing two artists from each team against each other in a sing-off that determines who will go home and who will make it through to the Knockouts.

In a sneak peek at Monday night’s show, Team Gwen Stefani’s Austyns Stancil and Jose Luis face off in an awe-Inspiring duet of Sam Smith‘s “Lay Me Down.” It’s crazy that Gwen paired the two together because they were both four-chair turns and you’d think she’d want to keep them both on her team.

“That was fantastic,” Reba McEntire told the two men. “Jose incredible; Austyns just incredible. Y’all’s vocal ability is totally different but both your vocal ability is huge. Your range is huge. I love the way you played off the audience, and I loved your choreography coming up. Everything was so polished and perfect, it’s like you guys have been singing together forever. I absolutely loved it. Gwen, that’s going to be hard. I’m going to abstain because I love you both.”

With Reba being no help in Gwen’s decision, it was on to Snoop Dogg for his critique of the performance.

“Oh, wow!” he said. “There was a couple of moments where I thought I caught the gangster Holy Ghost. This is a Battle right? It didn’t feel like it. it felt like you guys were together, working with each other, allowing each other to have that space to show your vocal abilities. That’s what I love about what I just witnessed, that you had no problem stepping back and allowing each other to have that moment. That’s a great characteristic right there, so I’m happy for both of you, and I know whichever one of you don’t make it, I will be taking you.”

That’s good news for Austyns and Jose that whoever doesn’t get kept by Gwen will get stolen, and Michael Bublè may be giving Snoop some competition when the time comes for the Steal.

“That just looked like you guys were having so much fun,” he said. “You lit this place up. It almost speaks more to who Gwen Stefani is. If this doesn’t show you the kindness and the goodness of Gwen Stefani to gift one of you to us. Gwen, I love you and thank you.”

Gwen at first thought Michael was being kind but then she caught on that he was being selfish. But she moved on smoothly to praise the two performers.

“The fact that you both picked me, you made me look so good right now,” she told her team members. “Thank you so much. I can’t believe it. Austyns, you came out so cool tonight. You listened to my notes about your facial expressions and everything landed perfectly. You had it in you already, but you adjusted. The way you came in on that chorus, as a fan, your tone is so beautiful. Jose, you have this gift. Your voice is so powerful and expressive that you could do anything with your voice in the whole world. It’s impossible to choose somebody. You both could win The Voice. I’m worried about my own mental health after I lose one of you.”

So, who will stay on Team Gwen and who will win the battle between Snoop and Michael for the Steal? Tune in on Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC to find out.
