Watch Bunnie Xo Try To Fulfill Jelly Roll’s Christmas Treat Request—and Fail Spectacularly

Ever since Jelly Roll exploded onto the country music scene in 2023, we just can’t get enough of the gravelly-voiced teddy bear and his wife, Bunnie Xo. The Dumb Blonde podcast host, 44, is undoubtedly her husband’s No. 1 fan. Together, there seemingly isn’t much they can’t do—except bake, apparently. Bunnie Xo recently shared her latest kitchen fiasco with her social media followers.

In 2015, Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo met in Las Vegas. The couple married the next year in the same city. Much has happened since then, with Jelly Roll transforming into a household name and Bunnie Xo building an empire of her own.

However, no one can be good at everything. It seems that baking is Bunnie’s Achilles heel, but that didn’t stop her from trying to deliver on her husband’s Christmas Day request.

“When you can’t bake to save your life but your hubby requests gluten free biscuits & he [knows] how terrible they’re about to be,” the entrepreneur wrote in a video posted to Instagram Christmas Day.

The video shows Bunnie Xo rolling dough between her hands as Jelly Roll walks up from behind and wraps his arms around her. The two sing along to Beyoncé’s smash hit “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” as it plays in the background.

Although presenting the perfect picture of holiday domesticity,the “Need a Favor” singer stayed realistic about his wife’s baking skills. “These are gonna be awful,” Jelly Roll said with a chuckle. “They look like sugar cookies.”

“Where is Nara Smith when you need her,” Bunnie wrote in the caption.

Fans flooded the comments to remark on Bunnie Xo’s latest baking mishap. However, many couldn’t help but notice something else entirely.

“That 400lb man looks thin AF,” one Instagram user wrote. “Keep going.”

Once weighing 550 pounds, Jelly Roll decided to take his health journey seriously at the end of 2022. As of November 2024, he is down 110 pounds and counting.

“What I want the world to know, and I want people to see … is that I didn’t become successful because of my weight,” Jelly said during an episode of Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast. “I became successful in spite of it. I somehow managed to be this successful carrying 550 pounds. That’s insane.”
