Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is reconsidering her support for Donald Trump following his aggressive public criticism of her close friend, pop star Taylor Swift. According to sources close to Brittany, the 29-year-old is “shaken to the core” after Trump’s inflammatory comments about Swift on his Truth Social platform.
The incident that sparked Brittany’s concern occurred after Swift voiced her support for Kamala Harris, endorsing her presidential campaign in a social media post that drove hundreds of thousands of voters to register. Trump’s response was quick and harsh, stating simply, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.” The bold declaration reportedly left Brittany unsettled, as Swift is like a “sister” to her.
Torn between loyalty and politics
While Brittany previously showed some alignment with Trump’s policies by liking one of his posts on social media, the situation with Swift has caused her to pause and reconsider. A source close to Brittany said, “She’s questioning her support for Donald Trump after he lashed out at Taylor,” adding that it deeply affected her because Swift has done “absolutely nothing wrong.”
Brittany has been vocal about her stance on negativity and hate, previously stating on her Instagram Story that she does not support hateful behavior.
