The Kansas City Chiefs should continue to see Swift in the stands this season.

As the Kansas City Chiefs near the start of the regular season, the one thing on the players’ minds is getting back to the Super Bowl. They are gunning for an unprecedented three-peat. Thanks to Patrick Mahomes, the franchise was already popular enough heading into 2023, but Travis Kelce‘s relationship with Taylor Swift put the team on the world stage.
Everything went according to plan both on and off the field. On the field, the Chiefs won. Off the field, Swift and Patrick’s wife Brittany got along swimmingly, frequently being spotted in the stands celebrating together like best friends. But the honeymoon phase came under threat recently.
Political differences won’t affect Mahomes and Swift
Mahomes liked a post from Former President Donald Trump, which sparked some outrage from a subsection of fans. Given that Swift is openly a democrat, it made many wonder if their relationship could suffer due to their political differences.
But Mahomes shared something to her Instagram story on Monday that calmed the waters.
While she didn’t specify exactly what she was referring to with the post, it definitely seems like she was addressing the political controversy. Rest assured, Chiefs fans, Mahomes and Swift should be copacetic in 2024.
