Amanda Balionis shared an adorable picture of her and her mother on board an airplane as the two set off for an exciting adventure.
Balionis, who has stepped away from the game of golf in recent weeks to focus on other career opportunities, is returning to her roots this week though with her mother alongside her.
The two are heading to the Asia-Pacific-Amateur Championship, with the CBS Sports reporter clearly excited for the games to begin.
She captioned the post: “Let the annual mother/daughter trip begin”, as they both smiled for the cute picture together.

The upload comes after a few weeks after she bid an emotional farewell to the golf world. This month, the CBS Sports reporter transitioned from covering the PGA Tour to covering the NFL as football season gets underway.
While she is accomplished when it comes to covering both sports, she made it clear in a recent interview which sport she prefers.
