Nevada inmates with sentences of at least three years, excluding life, get mandatory parole release consideration unless they have a consecutive sentence to serve in the state or have been previously released on parole for that sentence. They’re also ineligible if the Parole Board deems them a danger to public safety.
According to the Nevada Department of Corrections’ website, Casa Grande Transitional Housing is a facility for non-violent, non-sex-crime offenders who are within 18 months of parole eligibility. The institution provides residents with opportunities to seek employment and permanent housing before they are reintegrated into society.
