As a successful musician, there are many unique experiences that Jelly Roll is able to provide for his children—including some that he would have loved to have himself when he was a kid.
On Friday, Jan. 10, the “Son of a Sinner” singer shared a video showing one such experience that he recently shared with Noah, his 8-year-old son. In the clip posted on Instagram, the 40-year-old rapper-turned-country star introduced his son to Grave Digger, a popular monster truck that Jelly Roll recalled admiring when he was younger.
“Are you getting this? Is this not the coolest thing ever?” he asked the unseen person filming them as the father and son duo stood close to the vehicle. “I could have never got this close to Grave Digger. I watched Grave Digger from 180 yards away in the nosebleed section,” he added.
Noah then climbed inside the truck at the invitation of one of its drivers. “Sit in the seat and look out,” Jelly Roll urged his son. “Imagine you’re driving that big monster.”
When asked what he thought of the truck, Noah’s response made everyone gathered nearby laugh in agreement. “It’s awesome!” he exclaimed.
“Noah got to experience every kids dream,” the “Need a Favor” singer wrote to caption his post. “@monsterjam y’all are absolutely amazing thank you again.”
Fans who left comments on the post praised the four-time Grammy nominee for sharing the special moment with his son. “So cool to see Noah living his best life with his dad 🙌🙌👊👊,” one fan wrote as another agreed the experience was “Very cool 😎.”
“This is what it’s all about! I’m legit jealous😂,” one Instagram user commented.
Others took note of Jelly Roll’s slim figure in the video and left comments praising his hard work amid his ongoing weight loss journey.
“How fun for your son! Jelly ‘s looking pretty slim. 👏🔥way to go! 👏,” one fan wrote.
“You look so different every time I see you! Inspiring!” another fan said.
“You look great Jelly, keep it up,” an Instagram user urged.
