“I miss the GUYS sometimes,” that’s what Tyreek Hill said, remembering his bond with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in July.
From saying he wished to be a part of the Chiefs before the Super Bowl LVIII to saying “The real goal is to win the Super Bowl for Miami,” Hills has come a long way. And on August 27, when a fan compared the player’s current and old jerseys, Cheetah had an interesting response! In a video posted by FinsXtra on X, Hill said “Naah bro. Something about that aqua.”
Tyreek Hill surely loves seeing himself in the Miami Dolphins jersey. Interestingly, according to him, the vibes of his current team just hit differently, especially under the Florida sun. He gave a nod to the Chiefs’ red but has found a new love in aqua. With no mood to look back, Hill added, “That s— hit different bro, especially in the sun. You feel me? Red looks good though.”
The WR joined the team Aqua in March 2022, leaving behind the Red Army because of unmet contract demand. But Tyreek Hill sometimes feels that FOMO. Moreover, the Chiefs’ 2023 Super Bowl win was definitely a tough pill to swallow for him. Talking about the Chiefs’ win he said, “The first year that they went, me and my wife, we took a trip to Tokyo because it was kind of hard for me.”
Starting his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016, Cheetah performed exceptionally well for the team in 91 games, receiving a total of 6,630 yards, 479 receptions, and 67 touchdowns. However, destiny had some other plans for Hill. And after joining the Dolphins, the Cheetah has moved on and is busy proving his loyalty to the team!
Can Tyreek Hill and the team lead the Miami Dolphins to Super Bowl LIX
To make his team win, Tyreek Hill has been sweating blood day and night. With an outstanding career of 8 seasons, Tyreek Hill has recorded 717 receptions for an impressive 10,139 receiving yards and 89 touchdowns in just 124. And now the big question is — will Tyreek be able to help the Dolphins pick the Super Bowl after 50 years? Well, the player is all in to win the game and said, “Really looking forward to taking another step and that next step is winning a playoff game because we’ve got the talent to do it.”
But, it’s better done than said and Hill has been proving it right. To maintain peak performance, Hill engaged in an extensive off-season training regimen. This included stability and balance drills, speed work, and weight training to improve his game. And Cheetah knows that all of this is not enough to win the playoffs. Apart from enhancing his flexibility and core strength, the eight-time Pro Bowl receiver underwent stem cell treatment during the off-season. The player turned 30 this year and took the treatment to rebuild cells in his body, reduce recovery time from injuries, and maintain his strength.
To win the season, Phins have been taking the bull by the horns. With significant roster changes, the Dolphins finalized their 53-man roster with 20 new players. This includes important additions like first-round draft pick Chop Robinson and Odell Beckham Jr., who is aimed at deepening the receiving corps. Moreover, they have enhanced their defense by trying to improve the supporting cast for Tua Tagovailoa. And Tua himself has been pulling out all the stops to improve his game and team chemistry. They are working on better-tackling techniques and aiming to enhance their skills on both sides of the ball.
With Tyreek Hill leaving no stone unturned, he has sacrificed too much to stop now. Hill’s old team, the Red Chiefs, are now rivals, while Cheetah’s loyalty lies with the Dolphins!
