VIDEO: Ja’Marr Chase Had The Perfect Reaction To Reporter’s “Baby Oil” Question In The Middle Of The Whole Diddy Scandal
Ja’Marr Chase was understandably taken aback after a reporter asked him a bizarre question about “baby oil” after he helped the Bengals win their first game of the season on Sunday.
Ja’Marr Chase on Bengals’ Win Over Panthers
Chase registered three receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers, with both teams leaving the field holding 1-3 records after the clock ran out.
He spoke to reporters in the locker room after the impressive performance, and one of them asked perhaps what was the strangest question of the season so far.
“Ja’Marr, did you have baby oil on today,” the reporter asked, referencing a mazy touchdown run that began with the wideout breaking multiple tackles before taking off for the end zone.
Chase had to back it up for a second before answering.
“No…” he said. “We gotta keep that for somebody else, bro. That’s not my question right there. I did do it as a kid, though.
“You can’t even ask that no more, there’s too much going on in life right now with that, man. We can’t do that.” he added with a laugh. “Yeah, we can’t do that.”

Fans Struggled To Understand Why A Reporter Would Even Ask Ja’Marr Chase Something Like That
Fans couldn’t believe a reporter actually asked Ja’Marr Chase whether he was oiled up, especially amid the Diddy allegations.
“Pause,” one wrote.
“now why would he ask that 😭,” someone wondered.
“Out of all the questions bro could’ve asked😭🤦🏻♂️,” said a third.
“Gotta keep that for somebody else” that’s wild 😭😭,” a fourth commented.
“I’m weak the reporter actually asked that lmaooooo,” a user laughed.
“Reporter knew EXACTLY what he was doing,” someone pointed out.
“Dumbest question I’ve ever heard. Have some awareness dude,” someone advised.
We have to agree that the reporter knew exactly what he was doing and was likely going for a viral moment, something he certainly succeeded in generating.
