Former NFL First-Round Pick Johnny Manziel Admits To Cheating On His Ex-Wife During Famous Reality Show Cameo
The NFL has had its fair share of draft busts, and one of the most famous of the bunch is former Texas A&M quarterback and Cleveland Browns draft pick Johnny Manziel, and he continues to make headlines.
After having one of the most promising college careers, the Browns selected the signal caller at 22nd overall in 2014 but eventually fizzled out. He ended up seeing action in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Montreal Alouettes; however, after time in the FCF and the AAF, he hasn’t played a snap since 2021.
The reason for not being one of the NFL greats was his lifestyle and preparation, as he was famously known for partying instead of dedication to the game, and it seems as though he wasn’t always the most faithful, which only added to his bad-boy image.
In a recent episode of the reality TV show Selling Sunset, in which Manziel was trying to buy a home, he revealed that he was unfaithful throughout his relationship with his ex-wife, Bre Tiesi, and pleaded with her during their breakup.
Johnny Manziel Cameos On Selling Sunset
Tiesi is one of the show’s stars and joked with her cast mates, “My ex-husband Johnny Manziel reached out because he’s looking for a house in L.A. I’m going to help him find something, but we’re making sure he lives very far from me.”
Manziel and Tiesi called it quits in 2019 after reports of the former quarterback’s infidelity emerged. The two were joking back and forth about the relationship, and Manziel asked if Tiesi would consider their split a loss, to which she replied, “Yeah, because you lose me, it’s a loss.”
After everything was said and done, Manziel admitted to his faults, claiming that he had handled their relationship wrong, “I learned a lot about what I handled wrong. I was a lost, depressed kid running around the Hollywood Hills, getting drunk every night, and living in a nightclub. And a lot of time behind your back, probably as well.”
While Manziel’s playing days may be over, it’s still nice to see that he is making good of his notoriety by continuing his media career!
