Things are heating up with the New York Islanders, involving head coach Patrick Roy and general manager Lou Lamoriello.
It’s not just the Montreal Canadiens who are struggling right now.
After yet another Islanders loss last night-this time by a score of 6-3 against the Boston Bruins, a statement from Patrick Roy quickly set the web ablaze.
Personally, I don’t find it all that shocking, but I’m not too familiar with the rumors surrounding the relationship between Roy and Lamoriello.
A dismissal looming with the New York Islanders?

Renowned insider David Pagnotta, who is very well-connected within the NHL, immediately reacted:
«Oh snap!» is my initial reaction..
granted, I wasn’t there for full context, but this will surely add to the Lou/Roy speculation.

There’s a strong sense that a major firing is imminent over there after another 6-3 loss at home against the Bruins.
The chants of Fire Lou and Let’s Go Bruins echoed through UBS Arena in the third period.
