Jennifer Lopez once confessed who she’d save from drowning – out of P Diddy and Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez sent a burn to her exes when she was asked who she’d save if given the chance. The star is currently entangled in a divorce from Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez was previously put in a difficult decision, needing to weigh her options when it came to her exes.
The star notoriously dated both Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs and Ben Affleck and, in both cases, was outwardly open about her relationships. However, her tumultuous love affairs both came crumbling in different, yet dramatic ways. While she linked back up with Ben later, in 2014, while she was separated from them both, J.Lo gave a look behind-the-scenes at how she was really feeling.
Radio host Big Boy asked her: “You’re on a raft in the middle of the ocean and you look in the ocean, you see two people floating. You can only pull up one because that’s how much room you have on the raft. You look in the ocean, you see Ben Affleck and you see Diddy.”
“I’d let both those m—-rf—–s drown!” she replied in the unearthed interview. Jennifer went on to eventually marry Ben after they linked back up, but their relationship once again took a nose dive, resulting in a divorce in Aug. 2024.

As for Diddy, J.Lo and the rapper haven’t been seen together in public for years. Diddy is now facing several lawsuits, including allegations of rape and sexual assault. Plus, his Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided by Homeland Security who said they’re investigating the musician for a potential alleged connection to sex trafficking.
Diddy denied all wrongdoing in these situations, fighting back legally against some of the lawsuits. The first lawsuit was filed by Cassie Ventura in 2023 and Diddy settled the case within 24 hours. However, video footage of him beating Cassie in a hotel hallway later surfaced.
In a video statement, Diddy acknowledged his actions, saying: “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was fucked up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses.
My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
