Bronny James recently made his NBA debut with the Los Angeles Lakers. Playing alongside his father, LeBron James, the pair became the first ever father-son duo to have ever played together. As iconic as the moment was, the internet was not void of criticisms and slurs, and Savannah James reveals how she dealt with it.
Savannah James launched the third season of her Everybody’s Cr*zy podcast with co-host April McDaniel. In the launch episode of the same, the hosts attended a caller who asked Savannah about dealing with the negativity surrounding their kid’s games. Right off the bat, she admitted having tried to stay away, to no avail as she related to the caller’s overprotective instinct. She shared how she faced preconceived notions, leading to her staying away from people so as to avoid the banter.
We came with a target on our back already. It was somebody a lot of somebody’s already had a lot of things to say so I tried to stay away.
Savannah James responded
Savannah recalled how she deviated from keeping her calm during one of Bronny’s matches. She revealed how she had marched up to reason with a man who flipped her son when she had Zhuri in her hands. Additionally, the mom of three accepted that she had a lot to learn on the subject but it came through. One of the things she practiced was breathing techniques, which she revealed, helped her calm down.
Savannah James and LeBron James are parents to three children, Bronny James, Bryce James and Zhuri. The couple have been seen as extremely supportive of each other as well as their children. They are often conducting sporting activities for their children.
Savannah and LeBron James’ epic reaction to Bryce James getting ‘LIT’ at Sierra Canyon tip-off event
Savannah James and LeBron James were all-in with their son starting their senior year in high school. Bryce already has two offers ahead of the 2024-2025 college basketball season. Additionally, Sierra Canyon held an event celebrating the start of the basketball season.
Bryce James started the party at the Sierra Canyon annual tip-off event. Ballislife posted a video of the final year dancing in the middle of the court of his school premises. The couple shared the post on their Instagram stories writing identical captions. “Ayyyyyyyeeeeeee,” LeBron James wrote while Savannah chimed in.
While at school, Bryce got the opportunity to play alongside brother Bronny, who has now entered the NBA. The latter was drafted into the NBA after playing one year with the Trojans. With LeBron James’ longevity in the sport, it might be possible for Bryce to have a chance with the four-time MVP as well.
