The ‘Monster’ Cadillac Escalade Twilight Edition attracts all eyes, but not for the US

The Cadillac Escalade Twilight Edition Is a Head-Turning Beast, but Not for the US

2025 Cadillac Escalade Twilight Edition, designed for the South Korean market

Cadillac rolls out a head-turning version of the Escalade, but it won’t make it to the US. The limited-run Cadillac Escalade Twilight Edition is specifically designed for the South Korean market.
Cadillac unveiled the 2025 Escalade SUV back in June. The facelifted version came with innovative technology and no diesel. However, the new Escalade has not hit the South Korean market, so the model’s enthusiasts still have to deal with the pre-facelifted model. To keep them coming, the carmaker has come up with a special edition. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade seems to top them all.

The facelifted Escalade will arrive in South Korea in early 2025, but Cadillac’s Twilight Edition is its way of sending off the pre-facelift SUV. The special edition is based on the range-topping Sport Platinum grade but receives unique details that enhance luxury and comfort on board and make heads turn in traffic.

The Twilight Edition comes with all exterior trim in gloss black, matching the massive black mesh grille and roof rack. The “Escalade” badging is also black, as well as the Cadillac shield logo installed on the front grille and liftgate. The Cadillac logo is projected on the ground.

The Cadillac South Korea representatives explain that the model represents the essence of American luxury and call it the “King of SUVs” due to its design, performance, next-generation technology, and space use.

Customers can now order the all-new Cadillac Escalade Twilight Edition at dealerships across South Korea, but they will have to hurry. Only 30 such special edition units will be available. Cadillac offers the special edition Cadillac with both a standard and long wheelbase, the ESV.

The brand has not disclosed the number of units for each of the versions, but we can assume they could go for 15 standard-wheelbase and 15 long-wheelbase Cadillac Escalades.

Those who want to take an Escalade Twilight Edition home will have to consider a starting price of 160,500,000 won, which is the equivalent of approximately $109,000 at the current exchange rate. Meanwhile, the Escalade ESV Twilight Edition is a 170,500,000-won ($115,770) affair, as reported by the local media.

The South Korean market is going to receive the facelifted Escalade in early 2025. Just like the one already on sale in the US with a starting price of $118,890, the facelifted Escalade selling in South Korea will come with the Escalade IQ-inspired front fascia, flanked by vertical headlights and larger slim turn indicators. An illuminated crest in the grille is now standard.

New taillights show up at the rear alongside a repositioned Cadillac crest and a restyled rear bumper. The Escalade rides on 22-inch wheels as standard, but the largest ever offered in the lineup, measuring 24 inches, should also be available in the Asian state.

South Korean customers should expect a price hike when the 2025 Cadillac Escalade hits the local market.
