Davante Adams did not have the Jets debut he envisioned after securing a trade to New York last week.

The star wide receiver reunited with former Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers on the Jets roster, but they could only produce much of the same on Sunday night as the team fell to 2-5 courtesy of a 37-15 loss to the Steelers.

Adams, who made just three catches for 30 receiving yards in his first game for NY, was spotted on the bench looking like he was lost in thought at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

The Jets were down by eight at the time.

Folks Think Davante Adams Already Regrets Going To NY

“Davante Adams looks like he already wants to leave New York,” Dov Kleiman wrote as the caption to the pic shown below:

““did I make the right move dawg”,” someone wrote in the comments.

“should’ve went to Pittsburgh,” another wrote.

“Why he keep targeting garrett wilson”,” a comment read.

“Got traded just to have the same result..same record my boy was tripping smh,” a fan commented.

“Maybe he’s the problem 🤷‍♂️,” another suggested.

“He be like,  i should Just retire,” someone else wrote.

Of course, it’s still early days for Davante. But the Jets don’t have any margin for error left.
