Michael Jordan is widely regarded as one of the greatest NBA players of all time due to his unforgettable career with the Chicago Bulls. However, despite his legendary status, he hasn’t escaped the sharp humor of comedian Kevin Hart, who has made numerous jokes at Jordan’s expense over the years.

Hart’s playful jabs during a charity event in Las Vegas eventually led to an icy relationship between the two. Jordan reportedly got so upset that he stopped speaking to the comedian altogether. During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Hart shared how his humor crossed the line with “His Airness.”
“I’ve run into Mike a couple of times. Mike still be mad at me, true story,” Hart said.
“As I’m saying stuff, I lock eyes with Mike; he’s in the front row, and I start teasing him. I was like, ‘Man, what age do you get to where it’s OK to wear your pants that high and nobody addresses it?’ I said, ‘You’re telling me I’m the only one that thinks Mike’s pants are past the legal limit for waist?’” he added.
Michael Jordan Downplays His Role in the GOAT Debate Ahead of Two NBA Legends
Even though Michael Jordan retired many years ago, Jordan’s legacy continues to grow in the GOAT debate alongside LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. However, Jordan himself believes that other players deserve recognition before him, notably Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.
In an interview with SLAM, Jordan downplayed his own position in the GOAT debate, giving credit to Bird and Johnson for their impact on the game.
“I don’t put myself above them. I think that we’re all on parallel ground here. You know, they educated me about a lot of things about the game, from a team standpoint. So I can’t put myself above. I mean, people try to, but we played in different eras,” Jordan said.
Bird and Johnson each left a lasting mark that earned them a place in the GOAT discussion. But what really elevates Jordan in this debate is his unmatched achievement of two separate three-peats during his NBA career.
