PHOTO: Brittany Mahomes Doubles Down On Her Political Stance As She Refuses To Back Down From MAGA Controversy
Brittany Mahomes is not letting fans shame her for her political affiliation.
The 28-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and former college soccer player was spotted liking several comments on her Instagram page that indicated support for Trump.
One of the comments she liked said, “TRUMP-VANCE 2024.”
Brittany Mahomes also liked another comment that said, “Glad to see you aren’t backing down. We are all entitled to our own opinions and shouldn’t be bullied into submission.”
TMZ Sports caught Mahomes’ likes.
It was a good thing they did because she would eventually go back and unlike them both.
Brittany Mahomes first indicated her support for Trump on August 13th when she liked Trump’s Instagram post that outlined the “2024 GOP platform.”
It was innocent enough until social media caught wind of it, which ignited a backlash against the wife of the superstar quarterback.
Among the critics were fans of Taylor Swift, who dates Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Many Swifties began to unlike her social media pages and call for Swift to break her friendship with Brittany Mahomes.
Brittany Mahomes Responds To Critics Over Her Donald Trump Affiliation
Brittany Mahomes is not backing down from her support of Donald Trump.
The model responded to the criticisms on her Instagram story last Friday when she posted, “I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed, and you hate to see others doing well.”
She posted another cryptic message on her social media that added, “Contrary to the tone of the world today….you can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind,” she wrote Aug. 26. “Read that again!”
