Bucks vs Wizards: Injury Report, Depth Chart, and More as Doc Rivers’ Side Looks to Build on 5-0 Streak

Will the Milwaukee Bucks walk away with an easy win? Not to write off a team before the tip-off, but the Washington Wizards‘ 0-13 run is a glaring red flag. At one point, Doc Rivers & Co. seemed like they were headed toward a similar pothole with a 6-game losing streak early in the season. Now that the team looks like it has gotten over the hump, they take on a troubled side without one of their key assets. Can the Wizards turn it around and end their streak? Let’s find out.

First off, the Wizards have pushed themselves into a huge problem, struggling to rebuild their team from scratch. Ever since Bradley Beal walked out of the door, the District side began their rebuilding process centered on Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole. Guess what? the duo turned out to be the worst possible duo in the league right now. While Poole managed to put up a decent show, averaging 20.3 PPG, Kuzma hasn’t been quite in his form with a poor shooting showcase.

It’s truly a pathetic time for the Wizards. The fans only can sit tight and expect the season to get over. More importantly, pray that the team can rope in some good assets in the upcoming seasons. Nevertheless, coming back to the game, they have even worse things to worry about. The team has listed Kuzma and Tristan Vukcevic out for the Saturday game.

On the other end, the Bucks management has listed Giannis Antetokounmpo in the Probable category, citing a kneecap injury. Apart from him, the team also listed MarJon Beauchamp as probable. So, the Wizards might have a chance to turn things around without Greek Freak in the lineup. However, it’s also important to note that the Bucks are equally lethal without their leader.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo not in the roster, Damian Lillard will have to take the offensive load. It’s something that the former Portland Trail Blazers star is used to. Even in the last win over the Miami Heat, Lillard without the help of Giannis, produced a 37-point effort with 12 assists to take a 103-106 in a nail-biting game. So, we might see a similar performance from the star tonight. If at all, Dame has an off night, then the Wizards could break in and seal the deal.

Tonight, Jordan Poole will need solid help from his teammates to end his streak. With Kyle Kuzma out of action, Alex Sarr, who came into the league as a No.2 pick, should show early signs of his brilliance. What do you think? Will the Wizards end their streak? Let us know in the comments.
