Post Malone dons cowboy hat for Grammys after-party as he brushes off shock snub after failing to win any of his seven nominations

He departed the ceremony empty-handed despite his seven nominations.

But Post Malone was still in good spirits as he headed to a Grammys after-party on Sunday after his disappointing night at the prestigious awards show.

The American singer, 29, looked in good spirits as he attended the event at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood despite being nominated for seven gongs and failing to win a single one.

He demonstrated his unique sense of style by pairing a blue baseball jacket with red lettering with some light blue jeans and brown snakeskin shoes.

Post completed the look with a cream cowboy hat and a pair of black-lensed sunglasses as he flashed a beaming smile during the glitzy party.

The musician was up against Beyonce for the Best Country Album award, receiving a nomination for his project F-1 Trillion as he continues his switch from hip-hop to the country genre.

Beyonce, 43, was presented with the award for her work on her latest album Cowboy Carter by Taylor Swift, marking one of many snubs for Post at the ceremony.

F-1 Trillion was also looked over in the Best Recording Package category at the 67th annual Grammys.

His record with Taylor Swift, Fortnight, was up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video, while his hit with Beyonce, Levii’s Jeans, was nominated for Best Pop Duo Performance.

His song, I Had Some Help featuring Morgan Wallen, was in the running for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo Performance.

It comes after it was revealed that Post is set to perform at the Super Bowl’s YouTube tailgate concert this Sunday, steps away from the Caesars Superdome on game day.

Beyonce beat Post in several categories, finally ending her Album of the Year curse with a sensational victory 15 years after she was first nominated.

The star was recognised for her eighth album having previously been passed over for the ceremony’s main prize on four separate occasions.

In a special moment, the superstar was presented the honour by several members of the Los Angeles Fire Department less than a month after blazes broke out across the city.

Her husband Jay-Z, 55, was sitting by her side when she won the award and looked full of pride as Beyonce stepped up to the stage to make her speech.

Last year, he made his feelings about her not winning very clear, when he lambasted the Recording Academy industry while accepting the 2024 Dr Dre Global Impact Award.

In a scathing speech, the rapper ranted that ‘even by the Grammys’ metrics it doesn’t work’ for the Texan-born star to keep being snubbed.

It was a happier affair this year, however, as Beyonce finally picked up the coveted honour,  taking her record-breaking tally of awards to 35.

She had to beat a strong field to get the gong she was looking for, including: André 3000 – New Blue Sun, Sabrina Carpenter – Short n’ Sweet, Charli xcx – Brat, Jacob Collier – Djesse Vol 4, Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft, Chappell Roan – The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and Taylor Swift – The Tortured Poets Department.

It marked a full-circle moment as she shook off her Album of the Year curse and lifted the award 15 years after she was first nominated in the category for her 2008 project I Am… Sasha Fierce.

She was joined on stage by 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy as she began her acceptance speech by acknowledging firefighters for their courage.
