Giannis Antetokounmpo has already wowed the NBA nation with his dominant plays. So far, it was his powerful run and the incredible ease with which he got to the rim that stole the show. But recently, Antetokounmpo’s game has seen an upgrade. Antetokounmpo is also getting better at executing mid-range shots, which is a welcome sign for both the Milwaukee Bucks and the fans.

Reflecting on his change of focus, Antetokounmpo mentioned how he was aiming to become more and more effective with age. “I’m in an age that I’ve realized that in order for me to be effective and still be able to help my team win games I have to switch my game a little bit… I know I’m effective in the paint.. but you take a lot of beating, now my body today feels great. I feel like I haven’t been touched which is incredible..,” said the 29-year-old.

Antetokounmpo also mentioned that changing his game poses a significant challenge, which he enjoys. The 2x NBA MVP stated that such a new role gives him ample dopamine rush. Meanwhile, as the Bucks have struggled to keep up with their superstar team status, Antetokounmpo might be looking for a change of jerseys.

Milwaukee Bucks succumbed to a 104-116 humbling against the Atlanta Hawks. Such poor showing has prompted fans to speculate a potential golden handshake for the 29-year-old star. With the rumors getting stronger day by day, Amerikanos24’s Achilleas Mavrodontis finally addressed the topic. Shedding light on the matter, Antetokounmpo’s agent, Giorgos Panou, mentioned that such decisions are usually taken at the end of a season.

“The end [of the season] will tell. He obviously considers it his home. That’s not up for debate. He has proved it. Every year, every night, people can feel it, too. The truth is that they also have to make a decision, as well as Giannis will decide at the end of the year… Today, Milwaukee is the only option. There’s nothing else,” Panou stated in the interview. Thus, with significant tensions brewing, it remains to be seen whether the Milwaukee Bucks can bounce back in the season going forward.
