The Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard hasn’t played regularly since March 2024 because he continues to stay off the floor due to inexplicable knee issues. Leonard has not yet made his 2024–25 season debut, and there are still many unanswered issues regarding his health.

On his show, Bill Simmons disclosed that his Clippers source informed him that Leonard is making a comeback before Christmas and has already prepared for it.

Simmons said, “My Clippers guy was telling me Kawhi’s coming back before Christmas. I think he’s ramped up. He’s ramped up and ready to go.”

It has been about a month since the last official news about Kawhi stated that he was participating in the Clippers’ shooting practice. Since Leonard played almost 70 games last season before missing the final month due to a knee injury, keeping track of the situation has been difficult. The Clippers benched him entirely after he played two playoff games and looked awful.

Although Leonard and the Clippers management criticized Team USA for claiming he was injured. However, the national team substituted Derrick White for Leonard when he tried to play for them during the summer. They were correct since Leonard hasn’t played a single basketball game since.

Kawhi Leonard Was Seen Training At Intuit Dome For The Very First Time Since His Injury

Tyronn Lue, the head coach, recently confirmed that Kawhi Leonard has been working out on the court as part of his return-to-play regimen, which is encouraging. This week, an exciting video showing Leonard working out in the Clippers‘ Intuit Dome surfaced.

Kawhi is seen training hard on the home floor in a video posted on the social media site X (previously Twitter). The video, which purports to be from an Instagram story, shows Leonard showing off his abilities. He has since gone viral on several internet discussion boards. The sight of Leonard on the court is enough to create excitement. However, the identity of the person who took the video is still unknown.

The short 27-second video shows Leonard at his best. Even if he isn’t doing anything particularly fancy, it feels significant to see him performing routine basketball exercises at this point in his recovery. He is shown moving against a defender while starting with the ball. After being given a screen, he finds the room to sink a three-pointer that swishes flawlessly through the net.
