Meanwhile, the Lakers fell to 12-10 with the loss, sliding down to ninth in the Western Conference rankings.

The Miami Heat’s shooting clinic was a sight to behold on Wednesday night. The team shot 57.8% from the field compared to the Lakers’ 42.0%. The Heat team sank 24 three-pointers on 51.1% shooting, while the Lakers managed only five threes on a dismal 22.7% accuracy.

Tyler Herro was the real hero behind the Heat’s win on Wednesday. A key highlight of the game came in the third quarter, where Herro delivered a historic performance. Herro drained seven three-pointers in the period. He finished the game with 31 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

Miami’s balanced attack saw contributions from several players. Jimmy Butler chipped in with 17 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while Bam Adebayo recorded a near triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.


Haywood Highsmith also added 14 points while Terry Rozier added 16 points in the win. Kevin Love added valuable minutes off the bench, scoring 10 points with four rebounds and five assists.

For the Lakers, LeBron James led the way with 29 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. Rui Hachimura contributed 14 points, while D’Angelo Russell added 12 points and four assists. Max Christie chipped in 11 points, but Anthony Davis had a tough outing, finishing with just eight points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

The Lakers are set to take on the Atlanta Hawks on Friday while the Heat face the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
