The now-ousted rapper Sean P Diddy Combs is in jail, awaiting trial for federal charges of s*x-trafficking and racketeering all the while battling a tsunami of similar charges and allegations from over 100 people. In the midst of Diddy’s legal troubles, the news came that Liam Payne had passed away.

The 31-year-old fell to his death from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16, leaving behind family, friends, and millions of fans mourning his loss. While the autopsy of his body is being conducted in the country, a partial autopsy report has come forward, establishing a sad connection between Diddy and Payne.

As per the toxicology report, the singer had multiple drugs in his system including ‘pink cocaine‘. Also known as Tuci, it is a recreational substance that contains various other drugs including ketamine, MDMA, methamphetamine, and more. In addition to pink cocaine, Payne also had drugs like cocaine, benzodiazepine, and crack (via ABC).

While it is heartbreaking to know the One Direction star was struggling with drug addiction, pink cocaine, coincidentally is also the drug that all employees of Diddy had to keep handy with them at all times. As per the report filed by Rodney Jones (obtained by PEOPLE), a former producer and videographer for Combs, the drug was used rampantly by the music mogul to drug others and commit his alleged acts of abuse.

Liam Payne was in a relationship with influencer Kate Cassidy for over two years, before his untimely death earlier this month. Despite various rumors of them having broken up, the two were still going strong and were last seen in Argentina, before Cassidy had to leave just two days before Payne fell to his death.

After his death, the social media personality posted for the first time on Instagram, revealing they were planning to get married. In the post, attached with several photos of their time together, Cassidy penned a heartfelt note, stating,

I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone-millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.

Calling the Strip That Down singer her best friend and the love of her life, she remarked that she felt she had lost the best part of herself. In the same post, she also shared a note that the late singer wrote for her, which read,

Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.

Adding on a snapshot of the significance of the number 444— which is a number that reminds one they are protected and loved by angels— Cassidy ended the note by stating that she has gained a guardian angel and that she will always carry him wherever she goes.
