BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: Former One Direction member Liam Payne sent a string of distressing text messages just hours before he tragically died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16.
New documents obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, November 26, revealed that Payne texted his close friend Roger “Roger” Nores on the morning of his death.
The singer reportedly placed orders for four bottles of whiskey at 10 pm the previous evening and five more bottles at 6.36 am the following day.

Liam Payne apparently texted his friend Roger Nores asking for cocaine
The singer tragically died at the age of 31 after falling from the third floor of CasaSur Hotel on October 16. According to a post-mortem examination, he died from multiple injuries and internal and external bleeding brought on by the fall.
Law enforcement reportedly found drugs in his hotel room after his death, along with broken items and furnishings.
Payne and Nores traveled to Argentina together and were seen at the concert of One Direction’s Niall Horan earlier in October, as per The Mirror. Nores stayed somewhere else while Payne stayed alone at the CasaSur Hotel.
According to TMZ, the ‘Strip That Down’ singer allegedly texted his Nores at 7 am saying he was “going to f*** a h**ker.” Again at 9.32 am, he texted, “Can you get 6 grams?”, presumably referring to cocaine.
According to reports, hotel staff described the singer as “an aggressive man who may have been under the effects of drugs and alcohol” and that he was acting “erratically” in the hours before his death.
Before being brought to his room, Payne was also observed “acting erratically in the hotel lobby and smashing his laptop.” A hotel staffer reported the singer to 911, stating that he was in a balcony-equipped room and that they were afraid he might try to escape.
According to the transcript, the hotel employee said, “I don’t know whether his life may be in danger. He is in a room with a balcony, and, well, we’re a little afraid.”
Unfortunately, workers reported hearing a loud noise in the courtyard shortly after the call, and Payne’s body was discovered after 5 pm local time.
Authorities ruled out suicide after the singer’s death, assuming the singer was probably in “semi or total unconsciousness” when he fell.
Liam Payne allegedly ordered 13 grams of drugs and nine bottles of whiskey before he died
According to prosecutors’ documents, the former One Direction singer was drunk the night before and the morning of his fatal fall from a third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
They created a timeline of Payne’s last hours and stated that on October 15, at 10 pm, he placed an order for four bottles of whiskey. He then placed another order for five bottles on October 16 at 6.36 am.
He also drank whiskey at CasaSur for breakfast after Nores, an Argentine businessman who had previously claimed to be Payne’s manager, showed up.
While eating, a maid was tidying up Payne’s smashed hotel room. He came back desperately searching for something and finally discovered a “powder.”

According to TMZ, the ‘Strip That Down’ singer allegedly requested “another 7 grams for today” from a hotel staff by 2.00 pm.
Staff at the hotel noticed Payne “visibly drunk” with dilated pupils 15 minutes after Nores returned to CasaSur at 3.45 pm.
At 4.04 pm, Nores left the hotel just before a housekeeper overheard Payne destroying his room. Following that, Nores allegedly did not answer a phone call from a hotel employee. He sent Payne a text message at 4.25 pm asking how he was doing, but it was not answered.
Two women who claimed to have been in Payne’s room before his death were interviewed by police, as per Page Six. However, they were not present when he died.
According to sources close to the businessman, Nores checked on the singer three times on the day he died.
They also maintained that Payne was fine and showed no signs of being under the influence when he was dropped off at the hotel approximately an hour before the fatal fall from the balcony.
