Lauryn Goodman has hit out at This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard after they grilled her about her fling with Manchester City ace Kyle Walker.
Lauryn Goodman has expressed outrage against This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.
The mum-of-two appeared on the ITV morning show to discuss her forthcoming stint on Celebs Go Dating. However, Lauryn’s personal life swiftly took centre stage as she delved into her fleeting relationships with Manchester City star, Kyle Walker.
Lauryn and Kyle are parents to their son Kairo, four, and daughter Kinara, one. The 33-year-old, who will soon debut in the E4 dating programme, disclosed that she first met Kyle Walker, 34, through mutual friends over ten years ago.
Throughout the interview, she encountered a barrage of questions from hosts Cat and Ben regarding her fleeting ties with Walker, according to reports in the Mirror.
For those glued to their screens at home, the hosts clarified that Lauryn had firmly indicated her inability to delve into the recent courtroom altercation involving Kyle and herself wherein the judge denounced her list of demands – the inclusion of a new vehicle and hot tub for her residence, outrightly dismissing Lauryn as unreliable.

From around the tender age of 23, Lauryn confessed she had been under public scrutiny. Remarking on her fleeting affairs with Walker which resulted in their two children’s birth, she has “no regrets”, adding, “I’m currently in no man’s land with that at the moment, I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer for it,” during the conversation with the hosts.
Lauryn has since criticised the presenters for their approach during the interview, where they pressed her with questions. While some social media users have censured her, others have rallied to her support.
One Instagram user commented: “They seemed really frosty with you and the interview come across really awkward, however you done really well given the questions asked. You seemed shocked by Kyle’s statement at the end but again kept your composure. Hope you and the babies are doing well.”
To this, Lauryn replied: “I was taken back it as you can probably tell. Didn’t really think it was necessary and didn’t understand the purpose of it. Also the ‘respect my privacy’ when he’s the one who requested it was all made public. Made no sense to me but again it is what it is. I wasn’t on there to talk about him. I was there to talk about me and my children and Celebs Go Dating.”
Another follower questioned if she felt the interview was fair and respectful, to which Lauryn responded: “I was on there to talk about @celebsgodating but didn’t really end up being about that. Is what it is.”
Additionally, another supporter expressed sympathy for Lauryn, disapproving of how she was addressed by Cat and Ben.
Lauryn Goodman has been facing backlash from This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard following her recent interview about her relationship with Manchester City player Kyle Walker. The 33-year-old mother-of-two was on the show to discuss her upcoming appearance on Celebs Go Dating, but the conversation quickly turned towards her past with Walker.
During the interview, Lauryn was bombarded with questions about her past with Walker, including the recent court case where her demands were dismissed by the judge. Despite the intense questioning, Lauryn stood her ground and expressed that she has no regrets about her past relationships and the two children she shares with Walker.
However, viewers were quick to criticize Cat and Ben for their handling of the interview, with many taking to social media to show their support for Lauryn. Some felt that the hosts were overly aggressive in their questioning, while others praised Lauryn for staying composed and focused on her own personal journey.
In response to the criticism, Lauryn took to Instagram to address the situation, stating that she was on the show to talk about her own life and not to discuss the details of her past relationship with Walker.
She expressed her disappointment with how the interview turned out and made it clear that her focus is on her children and her upcoming appearance on Celebs Go Dating.Despite the negativity surrounding the interview, Lauryn’s fans continue to show their support and encouragement. Many have commended her for staying true to herself and not allowing the hosts to dictate the direction of the conversation.
As Lauryn moves forward with her career and personal life, it is clear that she will continue to handle herself with grace and dignity in the face of adversity. Stay tuned for more updates on Lauryn Goodman and her upcoming projects.
