Jennifer Garner enjoyed some special bonding time with her middle child Fin when they were spotted together on Labor Day.

Jennifer, 52, enjoyed a sweet hug with Fin, 15, after they stepped out of an SUV and headed toward their the actress’ home in Los Angeles‘ tony Brentwood neighborhood.

Both were dressed casually, with Jennifer favoring a sporty workout-ready look, but Fin was surprisingly barefoot as they walked across the asphalt.

The family meetup happened following a new report claiming Jennifer’s ex-husband — and Fin’s father — Ben Affleck is ‘happy’ in the wake of his very public split from his second wife, Jennifer Lopez.

A source told People that that the 52-year-old actor and filmmaker had been ‘doing well’ as he moved into a new home after the split.

Jennifer looked cozy on Monday in a blue graphic zip-up hoodie that she paired with a black shirt, matching leggings and black-and-gray Brooks trainers.

Fin opted for a more flowing ensemble featuring a gray graphic sweatshirt that they paired with beige linen pants.

The high schooler wore their brown hair in a short, spiky style, and they opted to skip shoes and socks all together.

Jennifer and Fin both beamed ear-to-ear as the Deadpool & Wolverine actress gave their child a hug, and then they turned to head into the house.

It was only in April of this year that Fin revealed their new name during a memorial ceremony for their maternal grandfather William Jack Garner, who died earlier that month at age 85.

During the ceremony, which was streamed live on Facebook, the celebrity child began their Bible reading with the introduction: ‘Hello my name is Fin Affleck.’

They commenced to read Chapter 16, Verse eight, of the Book of Proverbs: ‘Better is a little with righteousness, than a large income with injustice.’

In the months preceding, Fin had been nearly inseparable from their stepmother Jennifer Lopez’s child Emme.

Emme has continued to use their use the same name, but their mother began referring to them by they/them pronouns starting with an introduction at a performance in Los Angeles in 2022.

Jennifer, who looked as if she was ready for a run while out with Fin on Monday, has always maintained a trim figure.

However, she has lately been showing off a particularly athletic look after she revealed her grueling workout regimen for her Deadpool & Wolverine cameo.

The actress, who kept it a secret that she had reprised her role as the Marvel superhero Elektra until the new superhero blockbuster’s premiere, adopted a routine in which she had boxing classes three times per week, along with regular Peloton exercise bike rides and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).

In an Instagram post featuring clips of her workouts, she admitted that, ‘Other than trying to convince my kids’ preschool buddies that I was secretly a ninja, I hadn’t picked up Elektra’s sais since 2004.’

Jennifer and Fin weren’t the only family members who were looking upbeat on Monday.

Ben seemed to be upbeat after extricating himself from the relationship and moving in to a rented home near Garner in Brentwood, which helped keep their multiple weekly handovers with the children running smoothly.

‘He’s where he wants to be: close to his kids and in a neighborhood that he loves,’ a source told People. ‘He enjoys working too, and is very focused on the positives.’

Last month, Lopez filed to divorce Affleck, but she confirmed that they had split months earlier when she listed the date of separation as April 26 of this year.

They exes are now working on selling off their marital home, and moving trucks were seen outside it following reports that Jennifer no longer ‘feels comfortable living there.’
