After Hoda, 60, decided to spend more time with her family, Jenna Bush Hager, 43, made an announcement about the fourth hour of the show.
It used to be a double header, but now the show is titled as ‘Today with Jenna & Friends’.
A rotating roster of co-hosts will sit in the second chair as the former First Daughter welcomes a number of personalities to co-host the morning show with her.
A-list actor Scarlett Johansson, 40, has been in the hot seat with the regular Today show star this week.
She is mainly known for hit Hollywood movies such as Lost in Translation, Marriage Story, and her role of Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, many viewers think she has made an exceptional TV host during her stint on the entertainment show.
So much so, whenever producers post segments of her appearance on social media, the comments section is flooded with praise.
Many fans of the actress have practically begged bosses to hire her full-time, as they loved the chemistry between the pair.
On Instagram, one fan gushed: “It felt easy and unforced! I loved this pairing.”
A second stated: “Hilarious!!!!!! Yall are a match…. Just sayin’……. So fun today, Ladies!”
“Loved Scarlett today. I see chemistry between her & Jenna. So fun!!!!!,” noted a third user.
As a fourth commented: “Love these two!! Scarlett is the one.”
“Yes PLEASE!!!!! Jenna and Scarlett. I have loved all the guest hosts but Scarlett has that little extra something. Jenna and Scarlett have a natural chemistry that’s magic,” wrote a fifth viewer.
While a seventh fan put: “I hope Scarlett stays in that position. She is so natural. Jenna and Scarlett please please please.”
And an eighth added: “Scarlett was such a delight and breath of fresh air! I think Jenna found her match!”
