The boxer, 25, has been hard at work penning fresh chapters for his debut tome, Lightening Can Strike Twice.
Tommy Fury has revealed he’ll break his silence on his split with Molly-Mae Hague in his new book
The boxer, 25, told how he has been busy writing a new chapter for his tome
Referring to his split with his Love island co-star he told fans his new chapter will be ‘discussing whats been going on this past month’
Tommy, 25, told fans his book is available to pre-order
In a new Instagram video, he told fans the updated draft would see him “discussing whats been going on this past month.”
The Love Island 2019 couple shocked fans when they announced the end of their relationship on social media in August.
Tommy was accused of cheating on her before she called off their five year relationship, after being sent an “upsetting video” showing him on a lads holiday in Macedonia.
The sports star, who shares daughter Bambi, aged one, has denied being unfaithful.
In a new video posted to Instagram Stories, he said: “Hi guys, hope you’re all doing ok
“As you all know the past month for me hasn’t been easy.
“I’ve been having a lot of questions regarding my book, Lightening Can Strike Twice.
“I just want to come on here and confirm that the book is still coming out next month and it’s still available to pre-order.
“I’ve also tried to keep it as current as I can for you guys – I’ve wrote an extra chapter obviously discussing whats been going on this past month.
“So yeah just wanted to say the book is still going ahead, and it’s still available to pre-order now.”
He then left a link for those interested in purchasing to be able to do so.
Last month, we exclusively reported how crisis meetings surrounding the future of Tommy’s first book were being held.
The price of his book — Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury, which is due for release in October — had already been slashed by 50 per cent on Amazon from £25 to £12.50.
Insiders at the time said the team behind it were trying to work out a way forward.
Timeline of Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury’s split
After five years together, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury split up in August 2024.
At around 4pm on Wednesday, August 14, Molly-Mae and Tommy suffer an explosive showdown and Molly-Mae announces her split from fiancé Tommy Fury, saying ‘ I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way’.
An hour later Tommy shares a separate and brief statement confirming they have parted ways, and thanks Molly-Mae for making him ‘a dad’.
The real reason they split emerges and on Thursday, August 15 The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae learned Tommy had cheated on her – leading to an explosive showdown.
On Saturday, August 17, The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae had been sent an upsetting video showing Tommy kissing a girl in a nightclub in North Macedonia on a lads holiday.
Exactly one week after the split a Danish woman accused of getting close to Tommy speaks to The Sun. On Wednesday, August 21, she denies she is the girl who kissed Tommy.
A source said: “There’s major concern over the impact of the revelations. The price has been reduced already and this new storm is making it harder to sell — especially given all his gushing about his life with Molly-Mae and their daughter Bambi.
“Without a new chapter, the book is outdated. Meetings are ongoing about what can be done to turn it around.”
Tommy recently opened up on the “hardest thing” he’s done since his split with Molly-Mae.
Yet the Maebe fashion brand founder is maintaining a dignified stance.
Molly-Mae previously told her YouTube following that – despite being candid with them through the years – she would not be addressing the nitty gritty details of her relationship breakdown.
In another video, she then showcased her positive outlook – and slammed rumours suggesting the couple will reunite.
She chatted to fans from a hotel room in Cannes where she was attending a wedding and said: “This next chapter of my life, and this next one with Maebe, I honestly feel it will be the best yet.”
It comes amid claims Tommy cheated on the Maebe founder
