The “notorious” male rocker also shared that he was “panicked” by the current star culture. In a TV interview conducted with the program “The Sunday Project” (Australia), Jon Bon Jovi frankly criticized the current star culture when people can do all kinds of ways and tricks to become “famous”.

Many people who have participated in reality TV shows are also considered “stars”, sought-after “celebrities”. All of that makes the 56-year-old rocker feel very “horrible”: “I think it’s terrible that we live in a world where people can share the most private, secret things of personal life.

“I don’t really care about them, nor have I ever watched the hot clips, or the tricks they put out, those are not things for me. For celebrities like that, think about what they would know how to write if they did an autobiography, right? ‘I made a hot clip and waited for me to become famous’?! It’s horrible. Excuse me, let me skip it.”

During his singing career, Jon Bon Jovi has sold more than 130 million albums worldwide. It can be understood that Jon Bon Jovi is “kicking” some “stars” in the American entertainment industry today – characters who often stand in the middle of the difficult boundary of fame and… scandalous, they are known from reality TV shows with tricks.

Jon Bon Jovi also emphasized that today there are many people who are considered stars and celebrities but lack the real abilities required of an artist: “People should travel a lot, experience and then write books, paint, act, sing… Fame must be something that is obtained after we have created quality works of art.”
