The Phoenix Suns secured a 113-105 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night at the Footprint Center. Despite missing Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic, the duo of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant propelled the Suns to a commanding performance against the Warriors.

This defeat marked the Warriors’ fourth consecutive loss, following setbacks against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Brooklyn Nets, and San Antonio Spurs. The loss dropped their record to 12-7, positioning them fourth in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Suns improved to 11-8, climbing to sixth place in the Western Conference. Notably, the Suns have now won eight of their last ten games against the Warriors.

Devin Booker’s All-Around Game Powers Suns Past Warriors

Devin Booker delivered a game-high 27 points, along with three rebounds, nine assists, nine steals, and two blocks on Saturday night. He shot 8-of-20 from the field, including 3-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Kevin Durant added a solid contribution with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists. Durant also showcased his defensive prowess with three blocks, marking his second consecutive game with three or more blocks.

Grayson Allen chipped in with 17 points and four rebounds, while Tyus Jones added 19 points and nine assists. Royce O’Neale rounded out the Suns’ balanced attack with 11 points.

On the Warriors’ side, Stephen Curry, who is vying to win his fifth NBA title, returned from a minor injury and led his team with 23 points. Curry becomes the 29th NBA player with 24,000 points. Andrew Wiggins added 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists, while Draymond Green contributed 13 points, two rebounds, and seven assists.

Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski each scored 12 points, and Buddy Hield added 11 points, one rebound, and one assist. Despite the loss, Hield achieved a significant milestone by surpassing NBA Hall of Famer Jason Kidd for 17th place on the all-time made three-pointers list.

The Suns are now set to face the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. The Warriors will aim to rebound when they take on the Denver Nuggets the same night.
