Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese was one of the better players in the WNBA during her rookie season.
The star out of LSU averaged 13.6 points and a league-leading 13.1 rebounds on her way to making a WNBA All-Star appearance and breaking the record for most consecutive double-doubles, passing former Los Angeles Sparks star Candace Parker.
However, during the offseason, Reese is making other moves outside of basketball.
The No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft started her own podcast called “Unapologetically Angel,” with the first episode released on Sept. 5.
Reese has brought on numerous celebrity guests, including NBA legends Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal, former WNBA star Sheryl Swoopes and rapper Polo G, among many others.

On Sunday, Reese hit a big milestone with her new show. She announced on social media that the third episode of her podcast, released on Sept. 19, has reached 1M views on YouTube, the first episode of hers to achieve this number.
“JUST HIT A MILLIIIIIIII VIEWSS AHHHH,” Reese wrote on X with multiple emojis expressing her joy.
The episode featured musical artists Latto and Mariah the Scientist. The trio discussed Latto’s new album “Sugar Honey Iced Tea,” some potential new songs coming soon, and Reese’s impact on the WNBA.
Episode three of “Unapologetically Angel” is the only one that has surpassed 500,000 views. The next closest featured Polo G and it is nearing just 450,000.
Reese is making other significant moves during the WNBA offseason. She has appeared a multiple sporting events in the NFL and NBA, with the home team coincidentally winning each game. The forward will also take her basketball talents to Miami, Florida, for the inaugural season of the Unrivaled League, which begins in January.
