Musician Zach Bryan deactivated his Twitter account on Wednesday, just a day after a controversial post about Taylor Swift and Kanye West.

The 28-year-old singer tweeted on Tuesday night, ‘Eagles > Chiefs Kanye > Taylor who’s with me.’

The post was quickly bashed by Swifties, and less than a day later, he deactivated his account from the social media platform.

The singer still has his Instagram active, with over 4.7 million followers, though last month he deactivated his Instagram after a fiery rant about parenting.

He did, however, post numerous Kanye West songs on his Instagram story which have since expired.

Bryan has long been a die-hard fan of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, and Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

It remains to be seen what prompted the tweet, though legions of Swifties wasted no time in coming to the singer’s defense.

One X user, @wavessarewavess, said, ‘zach bryan being unable to stand on business and deleting his twitter bc he knew he f***ed up the second he mentioned taylor swift is so f***ing funny.’

Another, @crashyuck, said, ‘Very bad take too especially after all the weird stuff Kanye has said.’

Others defended Bryan like @Nickym49, who said, ‘I will follow him immediately when he returns. He’s my favorite now.’

More Swifties found his most recent Instagram post on Tuesday, with several posting the comment, ‘Taylor Swift > Zach Bryan.’

Bryan started posting his songs to YouTube in 2017, with his debut album DeAnn (dedicated and named after his late mother) released in 2019.

His second album Elisabeth and EP Quiet, Heavy Dreams debuted in 2020, before signing with Warner Music in 2021.
