Goldberg collapsed as Michael Eric Dyson ripped Robinson and Donald Trump: “I ain’t see no Haitians eating no dogs and cats, but I saw a Black woman eating a white ass on television.”
Perennial faux-fainter and Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg has once again performed a dramatic collapse on the set of The View.
The 68-year-old fell backward into her chair at the Hot Topics table on Tuesday’s live show, as guest Michael Eric Dyson tore into Donald Trump’s debate performance against Kamala Harris and slammed controversial North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson.
The author and minister ripped Robinson after cohost Sara Haines brought up “reprehensible comments” — including allegations that Robinson called himself a “Black Nazi,” a claim Robinson told CNN was “tabloid trash” — before she brought up the fact that Trump once labeled him “Martin Luther King on steroids.”
ABC
“Bro, Robinson, you ain’t no Martin Luther King, Jr. If Dr. King had a dream, you are a nightmare,” Dyson quipped, before his next comment led Goldberg to pretend to pass out in her moderator seat. “This is white supremacy by ventriloquism. Black mouth moving, white supremacist ideas coming out.”
But, Dyson didn’t stop gagging The View crowd there!
“I think that he needs to debate Kamala Harris,” he continued of Trump. “I ain’t see no Haitians eating no dogs and cats, but I saw a Black woman eating a white ass on television.”
Goldberg quickly threw the show to a commercial break while panelist Sunny Hostin threw her head back and laughed at Dyson’s explicit read of the debate.
Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a representative for Robinson for comment.
