Whoopi Goldberg was forced to correct Sunny Hostin after she accidentally made it sound like Vice President Kamala Harris “has a problem with men” on this morning’s episode of The View.

During the second Hot Topics segment of the day, the co-hosts discussed Harris’ upcoming interview with Fox News host Bret Baier and her potential plan to appear on Joe Rogan’s popular podcast.

“That makes sense because she’s going to be everybody’s president, so you have to speak to everyone,” Hostin said. “I think, again, she’s just run this flawless campaign.

“If you think about Joe Rogan, he’s got the No. 1 podcast in the country. And then you start to think, well, it’s men [who listen],” she continued. “[Harris] has a problem with men. There are many men that don’t want to vote for her.”

As soon as the words came out of Hostin’s mouth, Goldberg chimed in to correct her.

“She doesn’t have a problem with men. They have a problem with her,” the moderator said, to which Hostin replied, “Thank you for correcting me.”

Hostin went on to explain that “half of Rogan’s fans identify as Republican,” but “half didn’t vote for Trump in 2020.”

“There is an opening for Kamala, there is an opening for Democrats to communicate with that 48% of men that don’t like that choice,” she added, noting that 25% of Rogan’s listeners are also Hispanic — and her upcoming appearance on the podcast will help her reach that audience, as well.

And according to Sara Haines, elections are “all math and numbers.”

“The most important part is that she gets to tell her own narrative and no one is describing her. Because we’re in a siloed world,” she said. “So people are consuming her with other people describing her. This comes straight from her mouth and people can decide what they want and that’s where she’ll shine.”
