Taylor Swift Breaks Her Own Record for Biggest Streaming Day for Any Artist This Year
After also breaking the record for the most-attended female concert in U.S. history.
Swifties can’t get enough of Taylor Swift, and as a result, she’s hit another major milestone in her career. The singer-slash-songwriter has broken her own record for the biggest Spotify streaming day for any artist.
According to Chart Data, “@taylorswift13 broke her own record for biggest streaming day for any artist on Spotify in 2023 on March 19 (67 million).” Swift has surpassed Rihanna, who had a total of 54 million streams in a single day. Swift’s major milestone comes just as she kicked off The Eras Tour, which has become the most-attended female concert in U.S. history, surpassing Madonna.
Swift has broken several records in the last few months, especially after releasing her latest album, Midnights. Thanks to the LP, in October 2022, she become the first artist to simultaneously occupy the entire top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 song chart with Anti-Hero leading on the list. The single became her ninth No. 1 in her music career.
