There’s a lot of excitement in Indiana right now ahead of the WNBA season. Caitlin Clark is coming off an incredible rookie campaign with the Indiana Fever, and the fans are expecting even bigger things from her in Year 2.
One of those supporters is NBA shooting legend Reggie Miller, who played his entire 18-year career with the Indiana Pacers. In a recent post, the Hall of Famer shared his excitement ahead of Clark’s sophomore year. In particular, Miller is very much looking forward to what new Fever head coach Stephanie White can do to “unlock” Clark’s full potential.
“LOVE the attention to details, really believe Coach Stephanie White will unlock even more of @caitlinclark22 game. Excited for my @indianafever,” he wrote.
Miller, a three-time All-NBA shooting guard who ranks fifth all-time for most career 3-pointers, shared a recent post from the Fever that featured Clark in her first workout with White.
The team provided an “exclusive” look at Clark taking part in a series of intense workouts in the Fever’s practice facility at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. White, who the Fever signed in the offseason after winning WNBA Coach of the Year honors with the Connecticut Sun in 2023, was in attendance as she provided her input on Clark’s drills.
It is important to note that Miller is speaking from experience here, and it is clear that he has been left impressed by what he saw in Clark and White’s first workout session.
At this point, there truly is a lot to be excited about for Fever fans everywhere.
