The surprise guest humped the show’s floor and area around Behar at the Hot Topics table.
For once, the entity piercing through The View‘s airspace was not a phantom noise, a doomed gnat, an unknown spectral entity, or Joy Behar’s cell phone, but rather the thrusting pelvis of a ripped stripper.
In celebration of Behar’s 82nd birthday (which actually falls on Monday, Oct. 7, the day Behar typically has off each week), interview guest Nathan Lane came prepared to blow his pal’s mind on her special day.
At the end of the Monsters actor’s Friday-morning chat on the talk show, cohost Ana Navarro asked, “Did you come out here empty-handed for Joy’s birthday?” to which Lane replied, “No, I did not. Because Joy is still a hot Italian woman, I have ordered Joy a hot Italian pizza.”

A man clad in a white shirt, cap, and dark pants emerged from backstage and then approached the Hot Topics table with a pizza box in his hand. Alas, he was not, in fact, there to deliver food, but to gyrate on the floor while Behar watched in awe. Entertainment Weekly has since learned that the dancer’s name is Jake Warren, an actor, dancer, and stunt performer from Brooklyn who’s also currently starring in the theater show Life and Trust, and previously appeared in Lane’s 2023 comedy Dicks: The Musical.
Naturally, Warren ripped off his shirt to reveal his bare chest, prompting Behar to turn around in her chair and watch as he danced to the thudding bass booming in the background — and, later, humped the floor before her very eyes.
“Thank you,” Behar said softly as he danced about, eventually inquiring, “Where’s my pizza?”
Warren’s moves were so intense that panelist Sara Haines temporarily left her seat in shock, as she laughed her way through the segment.
The dancer returned to the program in its closing moments, once again dropping to the floor, bending his body into pretzel shapes, and generally vibing as viewers rejoiced.
