Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is not only one of the top players in the WNBA. As it turns out, the 22-year-old is an ace on the golf course as well.
This is exactly what Clark nearly achieved on Monday in a round of golf with Fever teammate Lexie Hull. The former Iowa superstar was inches away from getting a hole-in-one. In golf, this is called an ace, which occurs when a ball hit from the tee to start a hole finishes in the cup.
A video of Clark nearly sinking her shot in a par-3 hole has blown up online. Originally posted by the All-Star guard herself via TikTok, the clip has been reposted and shared all over social media, amassing more than a million views.
The Ladies Professional Golf Association, or the LPGA, has taken notice of Clark’s talents on the course, and the American organization just had to give the Fever star a special shoutout.
“File this under things we love to see 👀 Game knows game 🤝 @CaitlinClark22” LPGA’s tweet read.
You can clearly see how much that shot meant to Clark as she celebrated the amazing moment. There was a bit of disappointment there as well, though, considering how she just missed out on a shot of a lifetime.

Clark previously stated that she intends to spend a lot of her free time in the offseason golfing. She’s clearly getting good at it, too.
The WNBA Rookie of the Year will take part in The Annika pro-am event, a tournament that is hosted by golf legend Annika Sorenstam, in November.
