With the scariest night of the year almost upon us, we are starting to see celebrities getting into the spooky spirit and even better, dressing their fur babies in all sorts of costumes.
Maroon 5 rocker and The Voice judge and mentor Adam Levine and his Victoria’s Secret Angel wife Behati Prinsloo have a Leonberger dog that the gorgeous couple adopted in 2023 and Prinsloo shared the pup looking awful scary on social media.

Levine’s gorgeous wife, model Behati Prinsloo shared the snaps to her Instagram stories and even included one of the making of this epically frightening Halloween accessory.

Prinsloo is obviously a fan of the scary season, because she posted this amazing costume photo in 2011.
The couple wed in 2014 and they share three human children: daughters Dusty Rose, Gio Grace and a baby boy they welcomed in January 2023. They also have another dog, a blond long hair Dachshund. No word on whether or not this other pup will be dressing up for Halloween!
If you plan on having your own dog join in one the festivities on Halloween night, here are some things to remember.
Tips for Dogs on Halloween
Spooky season is here!Shutterstock/Bachkova Natalia
Some dogs are absolutely terrified of Halloween decorations, and that’s okay. If you’re out walking and your dog seems spooked, it’s totally fine to cross the street. You may even opt just to have a simple pumpkin or wreath for your own decorations if giant animatronic scare your pup.
Not all dogs are okay with Trick-or-Treaters gracing your doorstep all night and demanding candy, and celebrity dog behaviorist Cesar Millan actually feels Halloween is a horrible time to socialize your dog and your dog should be kept in a quiet room instead of helping you hand out candy.
If your dog does wear a costume, make sure it fits well, has no hanging parts, and that it doesn’t keep them from walking, eating and drinking water or doing their outside business. You can always opt for a festive dog collar or a Halloween or fall themed bandana instead. Maybe save the actual costume for some cute photos you can share with your friends and family.
Most importantly, keep your pup away from the candy dish. Dogs can end up at the veterinarian if they consume too much candy, including the wrappers, so keep candy out of reach from your fur baby!
However you celebrate, make sure Halloween is both safe and fun for your and your beloved dog!
