Justin Timberlake’s arrest footage ‘will never be released to public’ after guilty plea
Justin Timberlake was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, in June. He was also slapped with citations for jumping a red light and failing to stay in one lane while driving
The bodycam arrest footage of Justin Timberlake will reportedly never be released to the public.
Justin, 43, shocked fans when he was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, this June. He was also slapped with citations for jumping a red light and failing to stay in one lane while driving. He pleaded guilty to a traffic violation and driving while ability impaired on Friday.
He has since been handed a fine and ordered to perform community service. The global singer also agreed to be part of a public service announcement to warn people of the dangers of drunk driving. After his sentencing, he urged people to take a cab home “even if you’ve had one drink”.
The What Goes Around Comes Around singer added in a statement outside a Long Island Courthouse: “There are so many alternatives. You can call a friend (or) take an Uber. This is a mistake that I made, but I’m hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake. I know that I certainly have.”

And now, it has been said that the footage of his arrest will never be shared with the public. A source claimed to TMZ that the singer came to a mutual agreement with the Office of the Suffolk County District Attorney not to release the footage of his arrest, with the publication claiming the “parties agreed to seal it”.
Only the singer’s legal team, the police and prosecutors will be able to access the footage. The Rock Your Body star wore a sombre outfit consisting of a tan pair of trousers, a black t-shirt, and a coal-coloured cardigan as he prepared to hear from the judges at the court in the Hamptons. The star also wore a pair of dark sunglasses – and accessorised with pearl necklaces. He was arrested in the early stages of the tour and addressed his bad behaviour with his audience at one of his shows.
