Justin Timberlake had enjoyed a night out with his wife Jessica Biel‘s former stylist Estee Stanley the same evening as his DWI arrest in New York.

The singer, 43, was arrested in the Hamptons in June for drunk driving in Sag Harbor after leaving The American Hotel.

While there he was joined by top interior designer Stanley and her producer husband, Byran Furst, according to Page Six.

Stanley had previously styled Biel as well as other stars including Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, and Demi Moore.

The stylist also hosted Biel and Timberlake’s engagement party at her Los Angeles home in 2012.

As a renowned interior decorator Stanley has worked on Timberlake and Biel’s home, as well as the homes of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lea Michele and Patrick Dempsey.

In 2012, Stanley partnered with Timberlake to create HomeMint, a collection of home decor items.

Timberlake said at the time: ‘This was really a collaboration with Estee.

‘I don’t think I would do it if we weren’t in it together. We’ve known each other for a long time and have worked together on my homes – we really have a like-minded vision.’

And in 2016, Stanley, Biel, and Greenleaf founder Jon Rollo, opened Au Fudge, a family friendly restaurant that later closed in 2018.

At that time Stanley also called Timberlake and Biel ‘practically my family.’

Reports say friends of Timberlake were trying to intervene at the scene of his arrest.

A woman had reportedly asked officers ‘Are you going to arrest Justin Timberlake?’ and offered to drive him home as per TMZ.

She was later allowed to drive his rental car to her home following his arrest.

Timberlake will not face drunk-driving charges after sealing a plea deal in his DWI case.

He pleaded guilty instead to a reduced violation charge of driving with ability impaired.

The plea leaves Timberlake free of a criminal record, which he would’ve had if convicted of the original misdemeanor charge.

As part of the deal, he agreed to pay the maximum fine of $500 and a surcharge of $260.

An important component, sources told DailyMail.com, is Timberlake’s willingness to do a public service video for the organization Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Judge Carl Irace initially expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed statement, preferring a public service announcement.

However, he ultimately accepted the deal under certain conditions.

The bargain was struck by Timberlake’s attorney, Eddie Burke Jr who has repeatedly denied his client was drunk when he was arrested.

Timberlake will still have his New York drivers license suspended for six months because he refused to take a Breathalyzer test when he was pulled over.

The pop star was arrested in the early hours of June 18 following a night out with friends in the exclusive Hamptons enclave of Sag Harbor.

He was pulled over after he ran a stop sign while behind the wheel of his BMW X7, police said.

Local officers reportedly followed the pop star and observed him swerving across the road, forcing cops to pull him over.

Once he had stopped, officers noted that the singer was ‘glassy-eyed’ with a strong odor of alcohol emanating from him, according to a police report.

Court papers said: ‘His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.’

Timberlake told the officer he had one martini and was following some friends home, according to the documents.

He ‘accepted a plea deal because he wants to move on’ a source told People, adding he is, ‘a family man, and this is his focus.’
