WNBA star Caitlin Clark was recently named Time Magazine’s 2024 Athlete of the Year, following her rookie season with the Indiana Fever.

Clark joins sports icons like LeBron James, Simone Biles and Michael Phelps in winning the prestigious honor.

Following the announcement, the Fever star was in attendance at the Time Magazine red-carpet event, where she accepted her award.

While many fans usually have their eyes set on Clark’s elite basketball skills on the court, they turned their focus to the red carpet.

On Wednesday, Clark pulled up to the red carpet event in a chic monochrome look. According to fan account “Caitlin Clark Style” on social media, the 22-year-old was wearing a Prada gown that had a slit in the middle and ruffle-embellished straps.

Clark paired the look with an eternal gold snake bracelet.

As photos of her outfit spread on social media, several fans shared their immediate reactions to the red-carpet look.

As described by Time Magazine, Clark was a trendsetter in 2024, changing the landscape of women’s basketball.

The young star played in her final season of college basketball in 2024 and finished the year averaging 31.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.

During her senior season with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Clark became the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer for both men’s and women’s basketball. She totaled 3,951 points in her four-year collegiate career.

Clark then wreaked havoc in her first year in the WNBA. She averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game, en route to winning Rookie of the Year.

She helped lead the Fever to the WNBA postseason for the first time since 2016. They finished the year with a 20-20 record, listed as the No. 6 team in the WNBA standings.
