With the WNBA not starting until May 2025, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has been making the most of her free time. She has attended several games in the NFL and the NBA and recently expressed her support for tennis star Coco Gauff in the WTA Finals.
On Sunday, the 22-year-old Reese was also on hand to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix of Formula 1 at the Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates.
She shared pictures and videos of her experience on her Instagram Story, including seeing seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, who raced for Mercedes for the last time before moving to Ferrari next year.
Reese also met a couple of celebrities, including comedian Terry Crews and actress Taraji P. Henson. The Sky forward looked giddy beside Henson as the “Empire” star gave her a heartwarming message.

“I am so proud of you, you keep doing what you’re doing,” said Henson in the video shared by Reese on her Instagram Story. “You are a force to be reckoned with in so many ways, not just on the court, but in life.
“I’m so happy to meet you.”
In the caption, Reese described the 54-year-old Henson as “DMV’s finest,” referring to the District of Columbia (DC), Maryland and Virginia. Henson hails from DC, while Reese was born in Maryland.
“Literally my fav omgggg,” added Reese.

While Reese might be enjoying her free time, it will soon come to an end as she prepares to return to the court in January during the inaugural season of the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league.
