Milwaukee Bucks have slumped to a 1-3 win-loss ratio after their crushing loss against the Boston Celtics. Found wanting in almost every department, the Bucks’ 108-119 loss is surely ringing the alarm bells early on in the season. This has been one of the biggest NBA upsets this season as the Bucks outfit was labeled as a potential championship contender.

As a matter of fact, on paper, they have one of the strongest units. With both Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo on their side, it is baffling how the Bucks have struggled to find their mojo. Add to that the 5-star coaching experience of their head coach, Doc Rivers.
Analyzing the sorry state of affairs for the Milwaukee side, Stephen A. Smith recently had some interesting thoughts to share. He asked the team to pull up their socks real quick or their coach could be in for some serious trouble. Speaking to First Take, Smith said, “I don’t know what the hell is going on right now, but they better get it together… If he doesn’t get it done this year, this could be it for him for his career as a head coach in the NBA.”
Interestingly, things have gone downhill right from the moment Doc Rivers assumed responsibility last season. However, if the Bucks do not show an improvement, it could well happen that the Bucks’ authority would decide to part ways with Rivers. Surprisingly, Rivers is not the only one at risk of losing his Bucks job. Giannis Antetokounmpo too, dropped some shocking news recently.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Might Switch Milwaukee Bucks Next Season
Antetokounmpo has been the star prospect of the Milwaukee Bucks after being drafted in 2013. Infact, it was largely due to Antetokounmpo’s prowess that the Bucks won an NBA championship after 50 years. Sadly, with the cut throat competition the NBA witnesses, even such a resume is not indispensable.
Speaking on his future at the Bucks, the ‘Greek Freak’ opened up to The Athletic’s Sam Amick. Dropping a massive update, the two-time MVP said, “Yeah, if we don’t win a championship, I might get traded. This is the job we live. This is the world we’re living in. It’s everybody.
At any given moment, if you don’t succeed, that might be it for us. If you don’t do a good enough job, you’re out.” Thus, with the risk looming large over the Bucks, it is now time for the outfit to bring out the champion’s mentality.
