The International Tennis Integrity Agency has banned six players from competing, attending or coaching at official tournaments.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency has suspended six current and former players who breached the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program.

The breaches related to match-fixing activity in matches played in 2017 and/or 2018. Their bans range from two years to 15 years.

The ITIA said the sanctions “are linked to a criminal case heard in 2023 involving a match-fixing syndicate in Belgium.”

The ITIA worked with Belgian authorities, leading to a five-year custodial sentence for the leader of the syndicate, Grigor Sargsyan.

Five French players admitted to breaches, three of whom accepted agreed sanctions. These players waived their right to a hearing before an independent Anti-Corruption Hearing Officer (AHO).

Jerome Inzerillo accepted an agreed suspension of five years and seven months. This began on 27 October 2024, and will end on 26 May 2030.

The 34-year-old, who reached a career-high ranking of No. 354 in July 2012 has also been fined £40,328 ($50,000). £28k ($35k) of the fine is suspended.

Former world No. 116 David Guez accepted an agreed sanction of five years. The 42-year-old was fined £20k ($25k) of which £14.1k ($17.5k) is suspended.

His suspension started on 25 October 2024 and is set to end on 24 October 2028.

Romain Bauvy – who peaked at No. 758 in the doubles rankings in July 2016 – accepted the same sanction. Bauvy, 30, started serving his suspension on 6 November 2024. It expires on 5 November 2028.

Two players requested for their cases to be referred to an independent anti-corruption hearing officer. AHO Janie Soubliere ruled on the cases of Yannick Jankovits and Francois-Arthur Vibert.

Jankovits, 38, was suspended for two years from 21 October 2024. The former world No. 226 received a £22.6k ($28k) fine, of which £16.9k ($21k) is suspended.

Vibert, who has a career-high ranking of No. 591, received a two-year and three-month ban. This suspension was backdated to 12 June 2024. The 34-year-old was fined £28k ($35k), with £23k ($28.5k) suspended.

Agustin Moyano from Argentina denied the charges and requested a full hearing. The 34-year-old reached a career-high ranking of No. 1343 in September 2015.

AHO Charles Hollander KC ruled on the case. He issued Moyano with a 15-year suspension and an £8k ($10k) fine. The ban started on 2 December 2024, and will end on 1 December 2039.

While suspended, the six tennis players are not allowed to play in, coach at, or attend any tennis event authorised or sanctioned by the members of the ITIA or any national association.

This includes events staged by the ATP, WTA, ITF, Tennis Australia, French Tennis Federation, Wimbledon or the USTA.
