The reigning WNBA-champion Las Vegas Aces are set to face off against the New York Liberty in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series on Tuesday night.
Following the Liberty’s Game 1 victory this past Sunday, the Aces are back in Brooklyn for another matchup on New York’s home court.
Regardless of the result of tonight’s game, the best-of-five series will head to Las Vegas for Game 3.
The Aces play almost all of their home games at Michelob ULTRA Arena. But on some rare occasions, the organization will move games to the higher-capacity T-Mobile Arena.
One such occasion took place earlier this year when Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever came to town.
After quickly selling out Michelob ULTRA Arena, the Aces moved their Jul. 2 matchup against Clark and the Fever to T-Mobile Arena. The game sold out with 20,366 fans in attendance.
This decision is resurfacing ahead of the Aces’ return to Las Vegas for Game 3.
The home-team Aces got the better of Clark and the Fever in this midseason matchup, winning with a 69-88 final score. Clark finished the game with 13 points, 11 assists and six rebounds.

Clark and the Fever saw their 2024 campaign come to an end with a first-round playoff series sweep at the hands of the Connecticut Sun.
The Liberty took down the Aces 77-87 in Game 1 of their ongoing series. Breanna Stewart led the way with a game-high 34 points.
