A fan recorded George Strait hitting the famous Donald Trump dance at a recent performance and has claimed he made other gestures that indicate who the singer may have voted for.
Trump’s dance is now like a signal one can make to make (just over) half the country love you and (just under) half the country despise you (or at least that’s how it feels). George Strait decided to finally announce his political disposition through the Trump dance at a recent concert.
The “Trump Pump” as it’s being known, was performed more than once by George Strait at the end of a Las Vegas performance and after the encore. The move was only brief, and it was more of a symbol than a dance, but it was there.
The original poster of the video clip also mentioned how George Strait mimed golfing, another action now synonymous with the Trump dance.
What’s even crazier, is that the official Trump campaign account reposted the video, saying, “The King of Country himself @GeorgeStrait brought out the Trump Dance last night in Vegas…”

Internet Reacts To George Strait Doing The Trump Pump At Recent Concert
You can likely predict what sort of comments George Strait garnered after performing his Trump dance. Those who like Trump loved the dance, and those who don’t like Trump probably didn’t.
Although the lovers seem to be the only voices heard in reaction to this clip.
“Love it! King George is a fan of King Trump!” exclaims a fan.
“Love the King!! And love the Trump Dance!” another writes.
Not everyone is a fan of the dance, however.
“Gross,” simply puts one.
“I never liked him either,” says another.
Someone else offers up an explanation that he never was doing the Trump dance, however.
“Or that’s just how he dances. My uncle danced like that 20 years ago,” another explains. Given how clipped the moves were, this is plausible. It’s not like Trump invented those moves or anything.
There would be a bigger case here if he didn’t do the golf swing, also. Given how many times he did the Trump Pump also makes this seem like a Trump celebration.
