Caitlin Clark quickly took over the WNBA landscape during her rookie season with the Indiana Fever in 2024.
Haliburton and the Pacers were on the road on Monday, suffering a 130-119 loss to the Toronto Raptors. In the matchup against Toronto, Haliburton posted 16 points, three rebounds and four assists.
Prior to the game, Haliburton took to social media to share a few photos from the 2024-25 NBA season.
“brick by brick,” Haliburton captioned the post.
Clark then took to the comment section to send Haliburton a message.
Before the 2024-25 NBA season, Haliburton was asked about his relationship with Clark and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, who are both regularly seen in the Indiana sports scene.
“I’ve grown to be pretty close with Caitlin and him,” Haliburton said. “Me, her, him and my girlfriend, Jade, all have a group chat that we talk pretty often. It’s been cool to grow a friendship with her. … We’re friends. We have a pretty cool friendship alongside Connor.”
