COLUMN: The BBC have an obvious decision to make for their Wimbledon coverage

The BBC will be missing a trick if they don’t put Laura Robson front and centre of their Wimbledon coverage this summer.
Robson was exceptional again on punditry duty for Eurosport at the Australian Open and she is becoming one of our nation’s best broadcasters.
She is warm, empathetic and knowledgeable – the perfect mix for our home Grand Slam.
Robson isn’t afraid to be vulnerable and show her human side, which resonates with viewers more than the standard analysts.

She wept as good friend Madison Keys won the title in Melbourne and has a knack of making her interviewees feel at ease.
But it’s not just about emotions. Still just 31 years old, she has a good rapport with most of the players on both the men’s and women’s tours to give that extra insight.
Robson has been restricted to mainly radio duty during previous Wimbledons. Sky Sports and Eurosport have realised Robson’s TV potential – now it’s time for the BBC.
TNT own goal
TNT Sports’ goals show was a sign of Premier League football in the future – but why the heck was it so difficult to access.
They should have been showing it off as their main coverage on TNT Sports 1, not hidden away on TNT Sports 5, which was unavailable on certain devices and needed the red button on Sky boxes.
QUESTIONS have to be asked over why Arsenal have left it so late in the window to move for Ollie Watkins.
It’s been clear all season that they need a new striker, but it’s incompetent to leave a bid until the final week.
Of course Aston Villa are going to be furious – and they should make it even more difficult for any summer approach now too.
